Abstract
ICR mice were transplanted with sarcoma 180 ascites tumor cells. Linoleic acid form Allium sativum for, pekinase MAKINO was injected into the tumor bearing mice. Antitumor effect of the compound was investigated by using morphological and in situ
hybridization means. Linoleic acid was effective in delaying the tumorigenesis process. However, the effects were appeared not to be associated with changes in selected oncogene expression.
